Barbara J. Hibbard, 74, of Somerset, Kentucky, passed away Monday, December 4, 2017.She was born in Squib, Kentucky on June 13, 1943, daughter of the late Delbert Clayton and Pearl Delora Burdine Decker. She was a homemaker and of the Baptist faith.She is survived by one son, Clayton & (Joanna) Hibbard of London, four daughters, Debbie & (Ben) Howard of Somerset, Barbara & (Larry) Bullock and Becky & (Gene) French, both of Mt. Vernon and Kristy & (LeRay) Ritchie of Somerset, two sisters, Chestene Proctor of Martinsville, IN and Regina Burdine of Greenwood, IN, one grandson, Travis Bullock, five granddaughters, Karen & (Jonathan) Logan, Jacelyn Hibbard, Amy & (Matthew) Jones, Melissa & (Jeremy) Neeley and Kila & (Logan) Cable, ten great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.She was preceded in death by her husband, Albert Hibbard, her parents, three brothers, Roger Decker and two brothers who died in infancy and two sisters, Mary Jane Arthur and Lillie Mae Carlton.A funeral service will be held at 11 AM Thursday, December 7, 2017 at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home with Bro. Tim Renner officiating.Burial will be in Mize Cemetery.Visitation will be after 6 PM Wednesday at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home.Morris & Hislope Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
