Barbara Ann Haste

Diane Haste, 58, and Barbara Ann Haste, 55, both of Waynesburg, passed away Monday, January 4, 2021.

 

Diane was born June 9, 1962 in Eubank and Barbara was born later, on May 23, 1965 in Somerset. They are daughters of the late Vurnes  & Betty Louise (Wesley) Haste. Barbara was the manager of Hardees in Science Hill for 23 years and loved and cared for her sister, Diane.

 

Together they are survived by five brothers, Vurnes D. & (Helen) Haste of Bardstown, Fred & (Susan) Haste of Bethelridge, Hershel & (Judy) Haste of Science Hill, James Thomas "Tank" & (Rose) Haste of Somerset, and Donald Eugene Haste of Bronston; two sisters, Geraldine Hines of the Pulaski Community and Nadene & (Danny) Worley of Bronston; 49 nieces & nephews; 78 great-nieces & nephews.

 

Barbara also leaves behind a son, Adam Benjamin Haste & his fiancé, Hana Jackson. Diane was also a special mother figure to Adam throughout his life. 

 

They are preceded in death by their parents; three brothers, Roscoe, Lonnie, & Archie Haste; three sisters, Dorothy Anderson, Mae Wesley, & Aldie Ridings; and a special niece, Monica "Sissy" Haste.

 

Visitation for Diane & Barbara will be held from 5:00 to 8:00 PM on Sunday, January 10, 2021 at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home.

 

A Private Funeral Service will be held at a later date at the Chapel of Morris & Hislope Funeral Home with Brothers Scott Hughes, Shelby Reynolds, and Ronnie Haste officiating.

 

Burial will be in Sardis Cemetery.
