Barbara Jean Evans, 70, of Eubank, passed away Wednesday, December 25, 2019 at the Somerset Nursing & Rehabilitation Facility.
She was born August 24, 1949 in Somerset; daughter of the late Clyde Russell & Jeanne Mae (McClure) McKinney. She worked as a CNA in various nursing homes and enjoyed farming. She was of Baptist Faith. Most of all she enjoyed spending time with family, crocheting, gardening, reading & camping.
She is survived by two sons, Marion Eugene & (Misty) Evans, Jr. and Paul Glen & (Linda) Burge; a daughter, Paula Jean & (James) Parmley; a brother, Larry McKinney; a sister, Brenda Abbott; a sister-in-law, Irene McKinney; eight grandchildren, Lucas Burge, Logan McClure, Linsey, Lacey, & Kailey Silvers, Tausha & (Jared) Denham, and Hunter & Taylor Mason; and two great-grandchildren, Hadley Molen & Zayden Denham.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Marion Eugene Evans, Sr.; a brother, James Arville McKinney; and a brother-in-law, Joel Abbott.
A Funeral Service will be held 2:00 PM Tuesday, December 31, 2019 at the Chapel of Morris & Hislope Funeral Home.
Visitation will be after 10:00 AM Tuesday, December 31, 2019 at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home.
Burial will be in the Evans Family Cemetery.
Morris & Hislope Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
