Arvis Pat Wesley

Arvis Patrick Wesley, a beloved member of the Bethelridge community, passed away on November 8, 2023. He was born on October 28, 1938, in Bethelridge, KY.

Arvis's professional journey involved many roles over the years, where he predominantly worked as a school bus driver and a farmer. He also owned a skating rink, worked for Casey Stone, and served as a caretaker at Bethelridge Cemetery for many years.

Outside of work, Arvis found solace in pursuing his passions. He particularly enjoyed playing baseball and cherishing quality time with his family. 

He is survived by his loving wife, Sarah Jane Wesley. Arvis also leaves behind one daughter, Connie Elaine & (Larry) Cain; two grandchildren, Jonathan Patrick & (Daphne) Woodrum, and Amy Michelle & (Timmy) Brown; and six great-grandchildren, Brayden, Gage, Paisley, Emilie, Grace, and Sarah. He played an integral role in their lives, leaving behind a legacy of love and guidance.

Arvis was preceded in death by his parents as well as his brother, Clarence Wesley, and sister, Mary Margaret Rainwater.

A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, November 15, 2023, at 2:00 PM in the chapel of Morris & Hislope Funeral Home with Bro. Darrell Vance and Bro. Gene Sweet officiating.

Visitation will be from 12:00 PM until time for services on Wednesday, November 15 at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home.

Burial will be in Bethelridge Cemetery.
