Arvil Baker, 83, of Waynesburg, passed away Tuesday, November 17, 2020 at his residence.
He was born February 22, 1937 in Flatlick; son of the late Audrey & Julia (Hensley) Baker. He worked as a truck driver and was a member of Parlor Grove Baptist Church. He enjoyed going to auctions, cleaning his cars, and going out to eat. He never met a stranger and would talk to anyone.
He is survived by a daughter, Pam & (Hoy) Wesley; two sons, Arvil & (Cindy) Baker, Jr. and Shawn & (Valarie) Baker; a sister, Mollie Wesley; three grandchildren, Deedra VonGruenigen, Savannah Baker, & Elliot Baker; and a great-grandchild, Emery VonGruenigen.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Dora Baker; and four sisters, Genevia Tate, Dorothy Wages, Maggie Pigmon, & Juanita White.
A Funeral Service will be held 6:00 PM Friday, November 20, 2020 at the Chapel of Morris & Hislope Funeral Home with Bro. Mickey Winters officiating.
Burial will be at Howard Cemetery in Bell County, Kentucky.
Visitation will be after 5:00 PM Friday, November 20, 2020 at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home.
