Anna D Young

Anna D. Young, 90, of Kodak, Tennessee and formerly of Eubank, Kentucky passed away on Thursday, February 19, 2026 at Dominion Senior Living in Sevierville, Tennessee.

Anna was born on February 3, 1936 to the late Vernon & Dayton (Sells) Zachary in Albany, Kentucky. She enjoyed crocheting and gardening and spent her life as a devoted homemaker, caring lovingly for her home and those around her. She took great pride in home preservation and was known as a wonderful cook whose meals brought comfort and joy to her family. Above all, Anna's greatest treasure was her family, whom she cherished deeply and loved with her whole heart.

She is survived by her daughter, Janet Mae & (Delbert) Keeton of Kodak, TN; a sister, Marcie Hampton of Cincinnati, OH; two grandchildren, Amber Keeton & (Nick Wilson) and Heather & (David) Bandy; and three great-grandchildren, Larissa, Connor, Arlo, and one on the way.

In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, George "G.M." Young; a son, Glenn Allen Young; brothers, Perry Oliver Zachary, Orville Zachary, and Ernest Zachary; and a sister, Elizabeth Mae Farris.

A funeral service will be held at 1:00 PM on Saturday, February 28, 2026 in the chapel of Morris & Hislope Funeral Home with Bro. Eric Vaught officiating.

Burial will be at Double Springs Cemetery.

The family will receive friends for visitation from 11:00 AM until time for services.
