Anna Lee Dungan

Anna Lee Dungan, 82, of Eubank, passed away Wednesday, November 10, 2021 at the Ephraim McDowell Hospital in Danville.

 

She was born February 15, 1939 in Somerset; daughter of the late Maryland & Goldie (Ruckel) Tackett. As matriarch of her family, she loved them unconditionally, more than life and was devoted to caring for others. Anna Lee was a charter member of Pulaski Baptist Church.

 

She is survived by a daughter, Tammy & (Jamie) Board of Stanford; a son-in-law, Mike Denney of Eubank; a brother, Brent & (Ann) Tackett of Eubank; two sisters, Jean Tackett of Eubank and June & (Jim) Jones of Science Hill; five grandchildren, Ryan & (Renee) Lanigan, Aaron & (Jenny) Denney, Cole & (Brandi) Lanigan, Rachel Denney, and Cain Denney; five great-grandchildren, Aiden, Asher, Lucas, Isaac, & Levi; and several nieces & nephews.

 

Anna Lee is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Gene Larry Dungan, to whom she was married until his passing on February 23, 2016; and a daughter, Lisa Denney.

 

A funeral service will be held 1:00 PM Saturday, November 13, 2021 at Pulaski Baptist Church with Bro. David Gambrel officiating.

 

Burial will be in Pulaski Cemetery.

 

Public visitation will be held from 12:00 to 1:00 PM Saturday, November 13, 2021 at Pulaski Baptist Church.

 

Per the request of the family all visitors will be asked to wear masks for the safety and protection of all attending.
