Anna Briggs

Anna Briggs, 97, of Science Hill, passed away Wednesday, April 8, 2020 at the Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital Jean Waddle Care Center.

She was born November 9, 1922 in Clear Lake, Iowa; daughter of the late Olaf & Beatrice (Prenevost) Brager.

She is survived by two sons, Fred Briggs of Science Hill & Robert Briggs of Arizona; a daughter, Andrea Sutton of Science Hill; five grandchildren, Jenny & (Chris) Sutton, Stephanie & (Josh) Hearld, Anthony Flatt, Steven Briggs, & Sharon Briggs; four great-grandchildren, David Sutton, Kelly Sutton, Eric & (Aunnie) Sutton, & Zona Hearld; and one great-great-grandchild, Asher Sutton.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Everett Briggs; a daughter, Edie Briggs; two brothers; and a grandson, James Baker.

Burial will be in Pleasant View Cemetery.

The service will be officiated by Bro. Will Brown.
