Alma "Bennie" Campbell

Alma "Bennie" Campbell, 85, of Science Hill, passed away on Sunday, July 7, 2019 at the Hospice of Lake Cumberland Jean Waddle Care Center.

She was born in Pulaski County on March 31, 1934; daughter of the late Harley & Rusha B. (Smiley) Godby. She was a member of Pleasant Hill Baptist Church.

She is survived by her husband, Conley Campbell; three sons, Wayne & (Margaret) Campbell of Somerset, Kenny & (Pam) Campbell of Georgetown, and Ronnie "Cricket" & (Bonnie) Campbell of Science Hill; two brothers, Russell Lee & (Roberta) Godby of Goodrich, Texas and Michael A. & (Elaine) Godby of Somerset; five grandchildren, Jessica, Jennifer, Elizabeth, Jeremiah, & Brian; one great-grandchild, Jacob; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers & sisters, Elwood Vernon Godby, Orville H. Godby, Sylvia M. Godby Rash, Donald Edwin Godby, Harley Godby Jr., Wilma Joyce Godby, and Thresa Doris Godby Neal; two grandchildren, Cynthia & Christopher; and one grandson-in-law, Rob McClintock.

A Funeral Service will be held 11:00 AM Saturday, July 13, 2019 at the Chapel of Morris & Hislope Funeral Home with Bros. Corey Meggs, Jeff Griffin, & Don Jones officiating.

Burial will be at Science Hill Cemetery.

Visitation will be after 5:00 PM Friday, July 12, 2019 at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home.
