Allona Delphia Bastin

Allona Delphia Bastin, 77, of Somerset, passed away Monday, July 24, 2023, at the Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital Jean Waddle Care Center.

She was born April 9, 1946 in Somerset, Kentucky; daughter of the late Abe Young and Vera Lee Surber. She loved painting her nails, makeup, sewing, and eating at King Buffett. Allona loved children and was a child at heart herself.

She leaves to mourn her passing a plethora of family (Charles Bastin-uncle, Jessica Bastin- cousin, Claire LaBeau-cousin, Chris and Lena Sneed- cousins, Amy Sneed- cousin, Connor Lanter, Jordon Lanter- cousins, Justin Dick- cousin, a son, Chris Bastin; two grandchildren, Cherlynn Bastin and Kurtis Bastin; and two great-grandchildren. Allonna also leaves behind a beloved staff at Cumberland Nursing and rehab of Somerset. 

She is preceded in death by her parents; a beloved aunt/caretaker Regina Sneed; and a son, Anthony Surber.

Private services will be held at a later date.
