James R. "Jim" Phelps

James R. "Jim" Phelps, 61, of Somerset, Kentucky, passed away Friday, November 12, 2010 at his residence after a long illness. He was born in Bethel, Ohio on February 5, 1949, son of the late Robert Lee and Betty Jane Whitaker Phelps. He was a tool & dye maker. He is survived by two sons, Robert "BJ" Phelps & (Samantha) and Gary McClure & (Dawn), one daughter, Tracy Bullock & (Eddie), four grandchildren, Cameron and Zachary Bullock, Gary William McClure and Alyssa Rashae Phelps, one brother, Benny Lee Phelps & (Linda) and many nieces and nephews. He has a beloved ex-wife, Clema Burton, one special nephew, Jimbo Phelps, a very special friend Robert "Rob" New and many others who will all miss him very much. A funeral service will be held at 11 AM Monday, November 22, 2010 at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home. Burial will be in Eden Cemetery. Visitation will be after 10 AM Monday at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home. Morris & Hislope Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
