Charles Parker Roberts

Charles Parker Roberts, 76, of Waynesburg, Kentucky, formerly of Casey County, passed away Friday, November 12, 2010 at Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital. He was born on October 20, 1934 in Ferndale, KY to the late Joseph and Eliza Wesley Roberts. He was a De-barker for Monroe Pallet Co. He is survived by his wife, Lois Wesley Roberts, whom he married on June 8, 1953, seven children, Elaine & (Josh) Wesley of Bethelridge, KY, Reva & (Keith) Luken of Cincinnati, Ohio, Barbara & (Shawn) Sirk of Shelbyville, IN, Joe & (Bonnie) Roberts of Eubank, KY, Cathy & (Ronnie) Hatter of Walltown, KY, Sandy Phelps of Waynesburg, KY, Tammy & (Richard) Baird of Eubank, KY, two sisters, Eva Ray Steele and Alphine McQuarry , both of Cincinnati, Ohio, twenty grandchildren and forty nine great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, four brothers, seven sisters, five half brothers and three half sisters. Funeral services will be 2 pm Monday, Nov. 15, 2010 at the chapel of Morris & Hislope Funeral Home. Burial in the Sardis Cemetery. Visitation for Mr. Charles Parker Roberts will be after 11 am Monday at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home until after funeral services. Morris & Hislope Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
