Josephine Labelle Hill Broadway

Josephine Labelle Hill Broadway, 84, of Somerset, Kentucky, passed away Saturday, October 7, 2017 at Somerwoods Nursing & Rehab. She was born in Nashville, Tennessee on December 24, 1932, daughter of the late Jacob and Lillian Hill. She was a homemaker. She enjoyed reading and loved her animals. She said she missed working the farm and working in tobacco. She is survived by her husband, Charles Broadway, two sons, Tommy Broadway & (Wanda) and Joe Hill & (Kathy), two daughters, Debi Dykes & (Mark Shufflebarger) and Theresa Higgins, one sister, Laura Peach and several beloved grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by two sons, Gene Broadway and Charles "Chuck" Hill, two daughters, Violet Ahr and Lillian "Diane" Goins and several brothers and sisters. A funeral service will be held at 1 PM Thursday, October 12, 2017 at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home with Bro. David Bullock officiating. Burial will be in Lakeside Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be after 11 AM Thursday at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home. Morris & Hislope Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
