Richard Cordell Burdine, 41, of Somerset, Kentucky, passed away Wednesday, September 6, 2017. He was born in Martinsville, Indiana on November 4, 1975, son of Marvin and Regina Decker Burdine. He was a heavy machine operator for Lehigh Hanson Laurel Quarry. He loved bonfires, cookouts and being with his family. He is survived by his wife, Lisa Priddy Burdine of Somerset, his parents, Marvin and Regina Burdine of Greenwood, IN, two sons, CJ "Superstar" Burdine, and Cameron Ing, both of Somerset, four daughters, Summer Cheyenne "Baby Girl" Burdine-Hall & (Timothy) of Somerset, Ariel Turner of Liberty, Alyiah Turner of Russell Springs and Ashlyn Ing of Somerset, two brothers, Louis "Luke" Robertson of Whiteland, IN and Lee Burdine of Camby, IN, two sisters, Lisa Hannah and Charlotte Powell, both of Someret, several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Joe & Ivy Linzie and Ford and Alice Burdine and one niece, Amber Nicole Peyton. A funeral service will be held at 1 PM Saturday, September 9, 2017 at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home with Bro. Carlos Burdine officiating. Burial will be in Chimney Rock Cemetery. Visitation will be after 6 PM Friday at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home. Morris & Hislope Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
