Alice "Faye" Hunter

Alice "Faye" Hunter, 74, of Science Hill, Kentucky, passed away Wednesday, August 9, 2017 at Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital. She was born in Estesburg, Kentucky on November 22, 1942; daughter of the late Joseph David and Myrtle Christine Sneed Stansberry. She was a retired food service worker for Charlotte Co. School system in Florida. She is survived by her daughter, Donna Barnes of Somerset; two sons, Ronnell & (Brigette) Barnes of Science Hill, and Donnell & (Kai) Barnes of Albany, OH; six siblings, Gin & (Charlie) Rowe of Milford, OH, Donnie & (Wanda) Stansberry of Radcliff, OH, Ronnie & (Pam) Stansberry of Londonderry, OH, Brenda & (Tom) Yamashita of Seattle, WA, Mary Rice of Marysville, OH, and Margaret & (Claudius) Blevins of Eubank; several grandchildren; her beloved dog Molly; and a host of beloved nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, John J. Hunter; and one brother, David Stansberry. A celebration of life service will be held at 1:00 PM Saturday, August 12, 2017 at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home with Bro. Ferlin Price officiating. Burial will follow in Bethelridge Cemetery. Visitation will be after 11:00 AM Saturday, August 12, 2017 at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home. Morris & Hislope Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
