Joe C. Vaught

Joe C. Vaught, 83, of Eubank, Kentucky, passed away Friday, August 4, 2017 at his residence. He was born in Pulaski County, Kentucky on June 27, 1934, son of the late Arthur Lewis and Effie Jane New Vaught. Joe started in business on February 7, 1960, opening Vaught Brothers Manufacturing Co. He was responsible for thousands of jobs for people for more than 57 years. He was either full owner or partners with different individuals over the years with more than two dozen businesses. He is survived by one son, Danny Vaught of Kings Mountain, KY, one daughter, Donna Vaught of Eubank, one brother, Carlos Vaught of Eubank, six grandchildren, Anita, DJ, Brandy, Amanda, Joey and Keely and several great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, one son, Jeff Vaught, five brothers, Clarence, Desota, Glen, Paul and Elmo Vaught, two sisters, Trula Pilcher and Lucille Todd and one great-grandchild. A funeral service will be held at 11 AM Tuesday, August 8, 2017 at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home with Bro. Melvin Sisson officiating. Burial will be in Pulaski Baptist Cemetery. Visitation will be after 6 PM Monday at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home. Morris & Hislope Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
