Richard "Rick" Girdler

Richard "Rick" Girdler, 50, of Somerset, Kentucky, passed away Tuesday, July 18, 2017 at University of Kentucky Medical Center. He was born in Cleveland, Ohio on November 10, 1966, son of Linda Van Wagner Girdler and the late Chester Edward Girdler. He was a former employee of Walmart. He is survived by his mother, Linda Girdler, two sons, Brian Girdler and Thomas Williams, two brothers, Eddie Girdler and Charles Girdler, one sister, Sheila Frasere and one granddaughter, Brooklynn. He was preceded in death by his father, Chester Edward Girdler and one son, Korey Nicholls. A funeral service will be held at 1 PM Saturday, July 22, 2017 at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home. Burial will be in Beech Grove Cemetery. Visitation will be after 10 AM Saturday at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home. Morris & Hislope Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
