Jackie D. Jasper

Jackie D. Jasper, 77. of Cincinnati, Ohio, formerly of Pulaski County, Kentucky, passed away Friday, July 7, 2017. He was born in Pulaski County, Kentucky on November 19, 1939, son of the late Elmer and Grace Wallace Jasper. He was a Quality Control Supervisor for Sun Chemical Corporation and a member of Mintonville United Mehtodist Church and Walnut Hills Masonic Lodge #483. He is survived by a son, Scott & (Samantha) Jasper of Cincinnati, OH, two daughters, Caroline Jasper & (Edward) Zavala of Chino, CA and Melissa Jasper Hollingsworth of Cincinnati, OH, a brother, Willard Jasper of Science Hill, two sisters, Margaret Patty James of Bethelridge and Katherine Martin of Somerset, eleven grandchildren, Candace, Brandon, Lindsay, Amber, Andrew, Elizabeth, Kayla, Alec, Kyle, Macey, Tyler, eight great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife, Jeriline M. New Jasper, who died on June 27, 2017, his parents, one brother, Jimmie Jasper and four sisters, Gladys Ard, Ruby Delk, Jessie Waddle and Hazel Wesley. A funeral service will be held at 10 AM Wednesday, July 12, 2017 at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home with Bro. Darrell Vance officiating. Burial will be in Mintonville Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6 PM to 8 PM Tuesday at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home with a Masonic service at 7 PM. In lieu of flowers, the family request donations to the Alzheimer's Association or the Mintonville United Methodist Church General Fund. Morris & Hislope Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
