Randy "Mudcat" Hall, 58, of Somerset, Kentucky, passed away Thursday, June 29, 2017 at his residence.
He was born in Somerset, Kentucky on October 13, 1958, son of Jack Hall and the late Edith Calder Hall. Randy was a mason laborer for over 35 years and was known as one of the best mason laborers around. He was a member of Northside Baptist Church in Science Hill. He loved Kentucky basketball, contemporary gospel music, Subway sandwiches and spending time with his family. His children were his pride and joy.
He is survived by two sons, Brandon Hall and Derek Hall, both of Science Hill, his father, Jack Hall of Somerset, one sister, Kim & (Tommy) Taylor of Waynesburg, one brother, Alan & (Debbie) Hall of Somerset, one niece, Tiffany & (Korey) McWhorter of McKinney, one nephew, Tyrone & (Cecelia) Taylor of Waynesburg and a host of cousins, aunts, uncles and friends.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Edith Hall, paternal and maternal grandparents.
A funeral service will be held at 3:30 PM Monday, July 3, 2017 at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home with Bro. David Green officiating.
Burial will be in Science Hill Cemetery.
Visitation will be after 12 Noon Monday at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home.
