Leonard T. Stevens, age 82, of Eubank, KY., died May 2, 2017 at his home. He was a member of Buncombe Baptist Church, retired from Penn Ventilator in Junction City, KY, and a Veteran of the USMC. He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Vella Keith Stevens of Eubank; five daughters, Charlotte Burchfield, Karen Osborne, Donna & (Ricky) Glover, Anita & (Scott) Burton all of Eubank, KY.; Crystal & (Scott) King of Science Hill; eleven grandchildren, twelve great-grandchildren, and three on the way; three sisters, Jewell Maggard of Hazard, KY., Hazel & (James) Boyd of Lancaster, KY.; Delilah Morrison of Campbellsville, KY; two brothers, Harlene Stevens of Stanford, KY., and Arlis Stevens of Rome, New York.He was preceded in death by his parents, Dewey & Lucy Stevens; three brothers, Elmer, Frank, and Joe Stevens; three infant siblings; two grandchildren; two sons-in-law, R.J. Osborne and James Burchfield.A funeral service will be held at 10 AM, Thursday, May 4, 2017 at the chapel of Morris & Hislope Funeral Home with Bro. Edward Bray officiating.Burial will be in Buncombe Cemetery.In Lieu of flowers the family requests expressions of sympathy take the form of donations to The Gideons International or the Buncombe Baptist Church Building Fund.
