Royce D. Jasper

Royce Jasper, 61, of Science Hill, Kentucky, passed away Monday, May 1, 2017 at Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital. He was born in Somerset, Kentucky on February 12, 1956; son of the late Clyde and Dorothy Sweet Jasper. He a retired Heavy Equipment Machine Operator for Jasper & Jasper Coal. He is survived by a son, Brandon Royce Jasper of Arlington, VA.; a brother, Ricky T. Jasper of Oneida, TN.; three sisters, Judi & (Ree) Wilson of Lexington, KY., Betty Joan & (Danny) Alexander of Science Hill, KY., and Jennifer Keith of Grassy, MO. He was preceded in death by one brother, Ronald Jasper; and one sister, June Hammel. A funeral service will be held at 2 PM, Thursday, May 4, 2017 at the chapel of Morris & Hislope Funeral Home with Bro. Ed Massey officiating. Burial will be in Shady Grove Cemetery. Visitation for Royce Jasper will be after 11 AM, Thursday, May 4, 2017 at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home. Morris & Hislope Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
