Lois C. Wilson

Lois C. Wilson, 87, of Science Hill, Kentucky, passed away Saturday, April 8, 2017 at Hospice of Lake Cumberland, Jean Waddle Care Center. She was born in Pulaski County, Kentucky on October 15, 1929, daughter of the late Reggie F. and Mattie E. Smith Childers. She was an assembly line employee for Tecumseh, retiring after 17 years. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Science Hill. She is survived by one son, Pat & (Debbie) Wilson, one daughter, Donna & (Dan) Pfeiffer, both of Science Hill, one sister, Louise Cooper of Ferguson, five grandchildren, Drew Pfeiffer, Rebecca Sears, Elizabeth Pfeiffer Cundiff, Mark Wilson and Morgan Wilson, twelve great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Gover L. Wilson, her parents, three brothers, James Childers, John Childers and Bill Childers and four sisters, Isabelle Stringer, Emma Shepherd, Bessie Shepherd and Sadie Robertson. A funeral service will be held at 2 PM Wednesday, April 12, 2017 at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home with Bro. Ed Massey officiating. Burial will be in Lakeside Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be after 12 Noon Wednesday at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home. Morris & Hislope Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
