Ralph "Jay" Loveless

Ralph "Jay" Loveless, 68, of Science Hill, Kentucky, passed away Thursday, April 6, 2017 at his residence in the presence of his beloved family. He was born in Somerset, Kentucky on August 5, 1948, son of the late Adam and Manilla Wesley Loveless. Jay was a U.S. Army veteran and a retired member of the United States National Guard. He was a former tool grinder for Tecumseh Products in Somerset and a member of Pleasant Hill Baptist Church. He was an avid book collector and enjoyed traveling. He graduated from Somerset Community College with 80 credit hours. He is survived by his wife, Vivian Kay Irvine Loveless, whom he married on June 29, 1973, one son and daughter-in-law, James Loveless and Carrie Foster Loveless, two daughters, Jamie Lynn Loveless and Kelsey Nicole Loveless, one grandson, Mason Lee Loveless, all of Science Hill, two brothers, Eldon & (Mary) Loveless of Mason, OH and Russell & (Brenda) Loveless of Science Hill, one sister, Fern & (Arnold) Ashley of Lexington, KY and a host of nieces, nephews and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, one sister, Helen Loveless Easter and one brother, Clyde Loveless. A funeral service will be held at 4 PM Sunday, April 9, 2017 at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home with Bro. Don Jones and Ron Neikirk officiating. Burial will be in King Bee Cemetery. Visitation will be after 12 Noon Sunday at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home. Morris & Hislope Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
