Roy Michael Spears

Roy Michael Spears, 55, of Somerset, Kentucky, passed away Saturday, March 25, 2017 at Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital. He was born in Pulaski County, Kentucky on June 19, 1961, son of the late Delbert Ray and Martha Marie Warren Spears. He was owner of R & B Floor Cleaning and worked for Brooks Electric. He enjoyed working, being outdoors, sports and he really loved spending time with his grandbabies. He was a member of Bethelridge United Methodist Church. He is survived by his wife, Bonita Casada Spears of Somerset, two daughters, Jami Ashley & (JD Hargis) of Somerset and Tiffani Bertram & (Tim) of Monticello, three brothers, Lonnie Spears & (Livia), Jerry Spears & (Sue) and Jeffrey Spears & (Melissa), two sisters, Cathy Hatter & (Lynville) and Imogene Floyd & (Randy), sister-in-law, Margaret Spears, special brother-in-law, Eddie Casada, six grandchildren, Chase Michael, Chelsie Lynn, Cash David, Tate Michael, Tucker Lee and Tyler Grace and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Gerald Spears. Visitation will be after 6 PM Thursday, March 30, 2017 at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held at 11 AM Friday, March 31, 2017 at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home with Bro. Lynville Hatter officiating. Morris & Hislope Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
