Ricky Lee Lovins

Ricky Lee Lovins, 46, of Somerset, Kentucky, departed this world on March 19, 2017 at Tri-City Nursing & Rehab after a long battle with multiple sclerosis. He was born in Dayton, Ohio on March 2, 1971, son of Maxine Phelps Lovins and the late Henry Lovins. He was an employee for Papa Johns Pizza for 20 years. He is survived by his mother, Maxine Phelps Lovins, niece, Jennifer Rodgers, nephews, Eian and Koda Smith, sister, Melissa Wesley, brother, Frank Rodgers, special friends, Perry Cain and Robert Fulcher and many other family members and friends. He was preceded in death by his father and one sister, Penny Rodgers. Also, the family would like to give a special thank you to Tri-City Nursing & Rehab of Cumberland, Kentucky for taking such good care of him in his final hours. Also thank you to Tiffany Shelton and Latara Wesley. A funeral service will be held at 12 Noon Wednesday, March 22, 2017 at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home with Bro. Charlie Bullock officiating. Burial will be in Pleasant View Cemetery. Visitation will be after 10 AM Wednesday at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home. Morris & Hislope Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
