James W. Burchfield, 61, of Eubank, Kentucky, passed away Saturday, March 18, 2017 at Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital.
He was born in Somerset, Kentucky on November 26, 1955, son of the late Elza Burchfield and Martha Sears Burchfield Ridner. He was an Auto Technician for Bob Allen Motor Mall in Danville, Kentucky and of the Baptist Faith.
He is survived by his wife, Charlotte Stevens Burchfield, a daughter, Amber Lenae King of Somerset, a grandson, Xavier King of Somerset, two brothers, Robert & (Linda) Burchfield of Somerset, Dale & (Della) Ridner of Eubank, two sisters, Delma Murphy of White Lily, Elva & (Phil) Kirkpatrick of Somerset, his father-in-law and mother-in-law, Leonard & Vella Stevens of Eubank, special cousins, Mike & (Vicki) Meece of Somerset, Sherman & (Kathy) Meece of White Lily, a host of nieces and nephews, a large family of in-laws that he dearly loved and a granddaughter on the way.
He was preceded in death by his parents, an infant daughter, Leslie Ann Burchfield and a sister, Josephine Anderson.
A funeral service will be 2pm Wednesday, March 22, 2017 at the chapel of Morris & Hislope Funeral Home with Bro. Edward Bray officiating.
Burial in the Buncombe Cemetery.
Visitation will be after 6 PM Tuesday, March 21, 2017 at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home.
