Wanda Faye Wallace

Wanda Faye Wallace, 62, of Science Hill, Kentucky, passed away Sunday, February 26, 2017 at Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital. She was born in Somerset, Kentucky on November 6, 1954, daughter of the late Iva Blevins Wallace and Charles Wallace, Jr. She was a retired manager for Dollar General. She is survived by one brother, James Allan & (Iva Dean) Wallace, two sisters, Barbara A. Blevins and Carolyn & (Eric) Dick, all of Science Hill, nephews and nieces, Howard Blevins, Charles & (Ammiee) Blevins, Brandon & (Kayla) Cook, Tony & (Faye) Whiles, Stacy & (Jennifer) Whiles, Kim & (Robert) Stephens, Bill & (Stephanie) Dick, Erica Dick, Reanna Dick and Kaleb Dick, great-nieces, Harley Whiles, Carlie Blevins and Raygan Blevins and one great-great-niece, Peyton Floyd. She was preceded in death by her parents, lifelong companion, Scottie Irvin and brother-in-law, William Hughie Blevins. A funeral service will be held at 3 PM Tuesday, February 28, 2017 at Mt. Zion Methodist Church with Bro. Phil Scott officiating. Burial will be in Mt. Zion Cemetery. Visitation will be after 2:30 PM Tuesday at the Mt. Zion Methodist Church. Donations may be made to the United Methodist Home for Children. Morris & Hislope Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
