Charles Lee Tilley

Charles Lee Tilley, 77, of Somerset, Kentucky, passed away Friday, February 3, 2017. He was born in Pulaski County, KY on January 1, 1940, son of the late Millard and Lucinda Mae Jones Tilley. He was a foreman for Rough Brothers in Cincinnati, Ohio. He enjoyed watching Kentucky Wildcat Basketball and spending time with his faithful dog, Sheriff. He is survived by his wife of 58 years of marriage, Glenda "Tiny" Vaught Tilley, five children, Rick Tilley, Tim Tilley, Michael Tilley, Tammy & (Mike) Miller, all of Somerset, and Robert Tilley of Lexington, Like a son, Willie Stephens, two sisters, Pauline Wesley and Della Ann Nichols, both of Science Hill, six grandchildren, Adam & (Amy) Tilley of Lexington, Nicholas & (Kelly) Dalton of Fairborn, Ohio, Mackenzie & (Patrick) Mayer of Somerset, Arron Tilley of Indiana, Heather Floyd of Somerset, Corey Jones of Lexington, seven great-grandchildren, Brooklyn, Audrey, Jamal, Reagan, Genny, Andrew and one baby due in March. He was preceded in death by his parents, three brothers, Lawrence, Ray and Ronnie Tilley, four sisters, Eyvonne Guffey, Ima Jean Keith, Opal Lewis and Geraldine Tilley, one great-grandson, Xhaiden. A funeral service will be held at 1 PM Tuesday, February 7, 2017 in the chapel of Morris & Hislope Funeral Home with Bro. Melvin Sisson officiating. Burial will be in Science Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be after 11 AM Tuesday, February 7, 2017 at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home. Morris & Hislope Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
