Edward Lowe, Jr.

Edward Lowe, Jr., 80, of Burnside, Kentucky, passed away Thursday, December 29, 2016. He was born in Pineville, Kentucky on September 27, 1936, son of the late Thelma Wilder Lowe and Edward Lowe, Sr. He was a truck driver and of the Baptist faith. He was saved and has went to be with the Lord. He loved hunting, fishing, camping and 4-wheeling. He received so much joy being with his family. He was a great father, husband, grandfather and great-grandfather and was loved by all. He will be greatly missed! He is survived by his wife, Lucy Rhodes Lowe, two daughters, Debbie & (Roger) Lockard and Cathy Goad & (her fiancé, Dale Bessette), five grandchildren, Shannon & (Kasondra) Lockard, Misty Stigall & (her fiancé, Kelly Stigall), Crystal & (Chris) Hall, Shawn & (Chelsa) Goad and Aaron & (Jessica) Goad, six great-grandchildren, Kenya Stigall, Mahala Stringer, Grant Hall, Connor Goad, Landon Goad and Carson Goad, three step great-grandchildren, Riley Thurman, Destiny Sadler and Dakota Sadler and siblings, Marilyn & (Dale) Lane, Patsy & (Bob) Gregory, Shirley & (Ken) Shell and Jimmy Lowe. He was preceded in death by his parents, two great-grandchildren, Riley Layne Goad and Levi McKinley Goad and two brothers, Bill Lowe and George Lowe. Private services will be held at a later date. Morris & Hislope Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
