Martha Marie Spears

Martha Marie Spears, 86, of Science Hill, Kentucky, passed away Tuesday, December 13, 2016 at Somerwoods Nursing & Rehab. She was born in Casey County, Kentucky on January 10, 1930, daughter of the late Robin Goss "R.G." and Florence Woods Warren. She was a homemaker and a member of Bethelridge United Methodist Church. She is survived by four sons, Lonnie Ray Spears, Jerry Lee Spears, Roy Michael Spears and Jeffrey Keith Spears, two daughters, Cathy Sue Hatter and Imogene Floyd, nineteen grandchildren, several great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Delbert Ray Spears, whom she married on June 8, 1946 and who died on July 29, 2006, one son, Gerald C. Spears, one great-grandchild, Caden Gerald Pennington and her siblings. A funeral service will be held at 11 AM Friday, December 16, 2016 at Bethelridge United Methodist Church with Bro. David Green officiating. Burial will be in Bethelridge Cemetery. Visitation will be after 6 PM Thursday at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home. Morris & Hislope Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
