Daniel R. Lykins

Daniel R. Lykins, 76, of Georgetown, Kentucky, passed away Friday, October 21, 2016. He was born in Hazard, Kentucky on October 21, 1940, son of the late Richard and Ruth Feltner Lykins. He was a steel worker for Kirk & Blum Manufacturing Company. He was of the Baptist faith, a 32nd Degree Mason and an Eastern Star member. He is survived by his wife, Kathy Pence Lykins of Georgetown, KY, one daughter, Kymie Woolums of Covington, KY, two sisters, Helene Brumback of Lexington, KY and Rita Lykins of Georgetown, KY, one nephew, Dart Lykins, who was like a brother, of Lexington, KY and several nieces and nephews. A funeral service will be held at 12 Noon Tuesday, October 25, 2016 at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home with Bro. Damon Jones officiating. Burial will be in Etna Cemetery. Visitation will be after 6 PM Monday at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home. Morris & Hislope Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
