Edith Hall, 77, wife of Jack Hall, of Somerset, Kentucky, departed this life on Wednesday, September 7, 2016. She was born in Science Hill, Kentucky on October 24, 1938, daughter of the late Marvin and Celesta Singleton Calder. She was a homemaker and attended Science Hill Methodist Church. Edith and Jack's love extended beyond their home to the parents and children of the Pulaski County Little League through more than 40 years of volunteer service, along with life long friends, Gary and Shirley Wesley. Their love also went to all the children under their care at the Science Hill Methodist Church. She is survived by her husband of 60 years, Jack Hall, three children, Randy Hall of Somerset, Kim Taylor & (Tommy) of Waynesburg and Alan Hall & (Debbie) of Somerset, two sisters, Laverne "Tootsie" Whiles of Science Hill and Ann Mullins of Eubank, four grandchildren, Brandon Hall, Derek Hall, Tyrone Taylor and Tiffany McWhorter and two great-grandchildren, Tatum Taylor and Maverick McWhorter. She was preceded in death by her parents, one brother, Clifford Calder and one sister, Rojeane Cromer. A funeral service will be held at 2 PM Sunday, September 11, 2016 at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home with Bro. David Green officiating. Burial will be in Science Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be after 6 PM Saturday at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home. Morris & Hislope Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
