Isabelle Poynter

Isabelle Poynter, 78, of Somerset, Kentucky, passed away Monday, August 15, 2016 at Somerwoods Nursing & Rehab. She was born in Marshes Siding, Kentucky on March 22, 1938, daughter of the late Alvin Angel and Loula Nell Sellers. She was a seamstress and of the Baptist faith. She is survived by one son, Gary & (Lisa) Poynter, one brother, Bob & (Debbie) Sellers, sister, Willina & (Junior) Canada, brother-in-law, Arnold Canada and two grandchildren, Christie and Greg. She was preceded in death by her husband, Glenn Dale Poynter and her parents. A funeral service will be held at 2 PM Thursday, August 18, 2016 at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home with Bro. Damon Jones officiating. Burial will be in Union Cemetery. Visitation will be after 6 PM Wednesday at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home. Morris & Hislope Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
