Russell W. Martin

Russell W. Martin, 80, of Eubank, Kentucky, passed away Monday, March 14, 2016 at Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital. He was born on August 30, 1935 in Bethelridge; son of the late Noah Dea and Sinia Karen Parker Martin. He was retired from Sherwin Williams. He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Barbara Phillips Martin, whom he married on November 9, 1954; three sons, Richard & (Donna) Martin of Cincinnati, OH, Roger & (Carol) Martin of Salisbury, NC, and Robert Martin of Eubank; one sister, Linda & (Jimmie) Lawson of Eubank; nine grandchildren; thirteen great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; two sons, Ronald Martin, and Randall Martin; and a brother, Cecil Martin. A funeral service will be held at 1 PM Thursday, March 17, 2016 at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home with Bro. Troy Roberts officiating. Burial will be in Valley Oak Cemetery. Visitation for Mr. Russell W. Martin will be after 11 AM Thursday, March 17, 2016 at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home until time for funeral services. Morris & Hislope Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
