Jackie C. Lanigan

Jackie C. Lanigan, 83, of Science Hill, Kentucky, passed away Saturday, December 5, 2015 at Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital. He was born in Lincoln County, Kentucky on September 4, 1932, son of the late Owen and Lillian Singleton Lanigan. He was a retired minister and a member of Floyd Switch Baptist Church. He was a Mason for Mt. Gilead Lodge #255. He is survived by his wife, Doris Correll Lanigan, one daughter, Deborah & (William "Bill") Keller, both of Science Hill, two brothers, Kenneth & (Connie) Lanigan and Roy & (Lisa) Lanigan, both of Hustonville, KY, two grandchildren, Travis & (Ashley) Keller of Eubank and Kerry Keller of Lexington, KY and three great-grandchildren, Taylor, Trevor and Peyton Keller. He was preceded in death by his parents, one daughter, Holly Lanigan and two sisters, Betty Young and Jearlene Darland. A funeral service will be held at 2 PM Wednesday, December 9, 2015 at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home with Bro. Scott Hughes officiating. Burial will be in Double Springs Cemetery. Visitation will be after 11 AM Wednesday at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home with a masonic service to be held at 11 AM by Mt. Gilead Lodge #255 of Science Hill. Morris & Hislope Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
