Joey Lewis Irvin

Joey Lewis Irvin, 57, of Science Hill, Kentucky, passed away Thursday, October 22, 2015 at his residence. He was born in Somerset, Kentucky on September 26, 1958, son of Lacel B. and Janice R. Barber Irvin. He was a tradesman. He is survived by his parents, his wife, Mary Baker Irvin, one son, Joey Vaughn, one daughter, Bobbie Jo Vaughn Plants, five step sons, Ricky Vaughn, Jason Baker, Roger Baker, Robert Schuitema and Jerry Vaughn, three step daughters, Jerri "Pooh" Vaughn, Tabetha Baker and Lavender Schuitema, three sisters, Peggy Irvin Easterly & (Lloyd), Sandy Daulton & (Michael) and Tracie Irvin, several grandchildren and great-grandchildren, several nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, loving friends and buddies. He was preceded in death by one brother, Scottie Allen Irvin. A funeral service will be held at 2 PM Saturday, October 24, 2015 at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home with Bro. Charles Woodcock officiating. Burial will be in Lizard Lope Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5 PM to 7 PM Friday at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home. Donations may be made to the Lizard Lope Cemetery Fund. Morris & Hislope Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
