Shirley Etta Collins

Shirley E. Collins, age 78 of Dayton, passed away Sunday, September 21, 2014 at Heartland of Kettering. She was born May 24, 1936 in Somerset, KY to the late George Baker and Jeanetta (Poynter) Donlouie. Shirley was preceded in death by her parents and brother, George Winfred Baker. She is survived by her sister, Freida Rickey; brother, William Baker and several nieces and nephews A funeral service will be held at 11 am Friday, September 26, 2014 at the chapel of Morris & Hislope Funeral Home. Burial will be in Poplarville Cemetery. Visitation for Ms. Shirley Collins will be from 6 unitl 8 pm Thursday, September 25, 2014 at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to American Cancer Society, in Shirley's memory. Morris & Hislope Funeral Home is in charge of local arrangements.
