Lucian Edward Mullins, 83, of Eubank, Kentucky passed away on Monday, March 10, 2014 at Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital.
He was born on January 10, 1931 in Pulaski Co., son of the late William Edward and Beulah B. Reynolds Mullins. He was a farmer, an army veteran, and a member of Sunrise Baptist Church.
He is survived by two sons, Richard Wayne & (Liz) Mullins of Science Hill, and Jimmy Dean & (Rani) Mullins of Hopkinsville, KY; one daughter, Lisa Renee` Mullins & (Jack Evans) of Somerset; one brother, Clinton Mullins of Eubank; three sisters, Laverne & (John) New of Eubank, Verla Wilson of Junction City, KY, and Reba & (Kenneth) Gentry of Somerset; eight grandchildren, April Kendrick, Crystal & (Michael) Ruckel, Nicholas & (Ambria) Mullins, Matthew Brown, Olivia Brown, Kendall Mullins, Kameron Mullins, and Logan Hardison; seven great-grandchildren, Megan Kendrick, Mayson Ruckel, Nora Reynolds, Luke Reynolds, Aiden Ruckel, Luke Ruckel, and Deegan Mullins.
He was preceded in death by, his wife, Jane Gibbons Mullins who passed away October 31, 2003; one son, Michael Mullins; and two brothers, Delano Mullins and Harold Mullins.
A funeral service will be held at 1 PM Wednesday, March 12, 2014 at the chapel of Morris & Hislope Funeral Home with Bro. Jesse McCoy and Bro. Johnny Adamson officiating.
Burial will be in Bethel Cemetery.
Visitation for Mr. Lucian Edward Mullins will be after 6 PM Tuesday, March 11, 2014 at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home.
Military honors will be conducted by American Legion Post #18.
