Steve Richard Brown

Mr. Steve Richard Brown, 61, of Springfield Township, Ohio, passed away Friday, March 9, 2012 at Hospice of Cincinnati. He was born on December 25, 1950 in Hazard, Kentucky, son of Christine Caudill Brown and the late Elmer Dewey Brown. He was a driver and installer for a construction company. He is survived by his wife of 21 years, Laura Douglass Brown, his mother, Christine Brown, three sons, Steve "Richie" Jr. & (Heather) Brown, Matthew Brown and Christopher Brown, one daughter, Caitlin Brown, two sisters, Malinda Pennington of Metamora, IN and Janice Carter of Eubank, KY, brother-in-law, John & (Karen) Douglass, Mollie & Nancy, Matt & (Holly) Douglass, three grandchildren, Andrea, Zoe and Brody, a special niece, Sophia, numerous nieces, nephews and treasured friends. He was preceded in death by his father, brother-in-law, Glenn Carter, mother and father-in-law, Jack and Peg Douglass, uncle and aunt, Steve and Ruby Dixon. Visitation will be from 5 until 7 PM Tuesday, March 13, 2012 at Newcomer Funeral Home Hamilton Chapel. A funeral service will be held at 7 PM Tuesday, March 13, 2012 at Newcomer Funeral Home. A graveside service will be held at 2 PM Wednesday, March 14, 2012 at Double Springs Cemetery in Waynesburg, KY.
