Glen Haste

Glen Haste, 75, of Science Hill, Kentucky, passed away Friday, March 2, 2012 at Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital. He was born in Wheeldon, Kentucky on January 6, 1937, son of the late Arnold and Pearl Sweet Haste. He was a longtime employee of Vaught Brothers Manufacturing. He was a member of West Science Hill Baptist Church. He is survived by his wife, Dovie Wesley Haste, whom he married on December 2, 1955, two children, Joyce Ann & (Barty) Bullock and Carroll Glen & (Janet) Haste, all of Science Hill, four grandchildren, Margo Cross, Cindy Patterson, Holly Branscum and Christopher Bullock, four great-grandchildren, Brandon Patterson, Haley Patterson, Peyton Cross and Dawson Branscum, two brothers, Arnold Haste Jr. and Merle Wayne & (Mary) Haste and sister-in-law, Mayrine Haste. He was preceded in death by his parents, one daughter, Dora Kay Haste, two brothers, Carroll Lee Haste and Donnie Ray Haste and sister-in-law, Marie Haste. A funeral service will be held at 1 PM Monday, March 5, 2012 at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home with Bro. David Bullock and Bro. T.J. Godbey officiating. Burial will be in West Science Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be after 6 PM Sunday at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home. Morris & Hislope Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
