Helen Marie Hall Clines

March 8, 1923 — December 4, 2011

Helen Marie Hall Clines, 88, of Somerset, Kentucky, went home with Jesus on Sunday, December 4, 2011 at her home surrounded by her family. She was born in Pulaski County, Kentucky on March 8, 1923, daughter of the late Howard and Susie Calhoun Hall. She was a seamstress at Palm Beach. Marie loved all her family dearly. She loved God, attending church and gardening. She attended Somerset First Church of the Nazarene. She is survived by two sons, Jackie & (Carol) Clines of Somerset and Garry & (Ruth) Clines of Mound Valley, KS, six grandchildren, Melinda & (Dwayne) Stogsdill, Jody & (Jennifer) Clines and Brian Clines, all of Somerset, Shawn Clines, Jennifer & (Rocky) Kelso and Trelanie & (Jeremy) Schenck, all of Kansas, five great-grandchildren, Emily Stogsdill, Sarah Stogsdill, both of Somerset, Victoria, Cera and Trent Schenck, all of Kansas, sisters, Betty Surber of Lafayette, IN, Jewell Dick of Science Hill, Nola New of Albany, KY and Lily Swisher of Nicholasville, KY and brother, William "Bill" Hall of Eubank. She was preceded in death by her husband, Prentiss Clines, her parents, sisters, Avalene Anderson, Dorothy Cline and brothers, Paul Hall and Leslie Hall. A funeral service will be held at 11 AM Friday, December 9, 2011 at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home with Bro. Mark Routt and Bro. Mike Norwood officiating. Burial will be in Science Hill Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Jody Clines, Brian Clines, Dwayne Stogsdill, Shawn Clines, Jeremy Schenck and Owen Bray. Visitation will be after 6 PM Thursday at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home. Morris & Hislope Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
